The procedure
- Start a packet capture on the loopback and the active network interface.
- Hold the SpeakrStream hotkey and dictate a 60-second sample.
- Repeat with airplane mode enabled — confirm transcription still works.
- Inspect the capture: zero outbound traffic to SpeakrStream infrastructure during dictation.
What you should see
No outbound audio. The only network traffic from SpeakrStream is licence verification (a single HTTPS request once every 24 hours, 2 KB) and optional update checks, both of which can be disabled in enterprise mode.
